Lots of Visitors

We’re getting lots of high profile visitors lately and getting great feedback on the project. One of the most fun recently was about 40 members of the Lighthouse Country Business Association who are excited about the economic benefit the station is going to have in the region.

Last week we also hosted Else Berit Eikeland, the Norwegian Ambassador to Canada who came for lunch and toured the site with Parksville-Qualicum MLA Ron Cantelon and VIU President and Vice-Chancellor Ralph Nilson, among other select guests.   Pam Smyth from the Oceanside Star was on hand and wrote about it here.
