Stephanie and our very enthusiastic students took a touch tank to the BC Shellfish Festival in Comox last weekend.  It was a huge hit!  Here’s some photos.

Emily (3d year biology on Left) and Sarah (Fisheries and Aquaculture and Culinary grad – Right) explain the biology of various species. Sarah built the stand for the tank from construction leftovers and did all the recirc plumbing herself.

A big thank-you to Sarah, Rianna and Emily for a tremendous amount of work getting the tanks and animals ready. Sarah and Emily for tremendous enthusiasm all day for what was an extremely long day by the time they got everyone back into their tanks at the end of the day.
