First “Music by the Bay” a wonderful evening and big success

Music by the Bay August 10, 2012
Ok, I’ll admit it, by Tuesday we’d only sold 27 tickets and I was starting to panic.  Everyone around here must wait until the last moment ,because by Thursday suddenly people were tallying how few we had left and by Friday we had a full house for Phil Dwyer’s Adult Jazz Intensive Ensemble.    If you missed this concert we have two more!  This Saturday guitarist Eric Harper and the following weekend the Nanaimo Chamber OrchestraWhat a great first concert for us and this series.  The Field Station turned out to have great acoustics. Juno Award winning Phil Dwyer and his class of adult Jazz players wowed the crowd, Sarah’s food treats all but sold out, great Milner volunteers, the sunset gorgeous and the happy crowd feedback was terrific.
